THE RULES OF NINJUTSU & MUAY THAI TRAINING These rules are all very important for safety & for your learning experience.
(The Basic Rules) 1. Everyone must wear a black martial arts uniform (Do-Gi) during Ninjutsu training. Black clothing may be worn by those who do not have a martial arts uniform. (A black t-shirt can be turned inside out to hide the picture, markings and or logos). Thai shorts may be worn by the students who are Muay Thai practitioners. 2. No eating, drinking, smoking or chewing gum during practice or while in or around the training area. 3. Absolutely no jewelry of any kind during practice. 4. No profanity or loud talking in the practice area. 5. Students must make a standing bow upon entering and leaving the practice area. 6. Never drink alcoholic beverages while in class or while in your Uniform. 7. Always try to avoid fighting when possible! 8. Never leave the class for a break, water, or any early dismissal, except with permission. 9. Always maintain a serious attitude during practice. 10. Be respectful to all instructors, participants and observers. 11. Help keep the practice areas clean and neat. 12. Never criticize other styles of the Martial Arts. 13. As a sign of respect and responsibility, dues should be paid on time. 14. No smoking or chewing tobacco products during class or in the training area. 15. For safety reasons, absolutely no hats of any kind should be worn during practice. 16. Always listen and focus your eyes on your instructor while he or she is talking or giving advice. 17. By participating in the classes you release your image if it is filmed or recorded on that day. 18. For safety reasons, absolutely no horse playing will be allowed in class. 19. Long hair must be tied back into a ponytail during practice. 20. No cell phone use during practice! If you must answer or make a call, please do so outside the training area. (THIS ALSO MEANS NO TEXTING) 21. School property must not be altered in any way or destroyed. All items provided by the school during training, such as Boxing Gloves, Hand Wraps and etc., are to be returned in the same condition as they were issued. 22. All students must learn to tie your martial arts uniform and belt properly. 23. Always remove your belt before leaving the school or training area and never wear your belt in public!
