Does the Black Scorpion Ninjutsu Society conflict with the Bujinkan and other Ninjutsu systems?
No. The Black Scorpion Ninjutsu Society is an open martial arts association and we do not issue rank to anyone.
Our ranking system is for those who train with us and we teach more than ninjutsu in our classes. As a member
you may come in contact with other ninja society members during historic research events, demonstrations or
training camps. We respect all martial arts styles and systems including all ancient and modern ninjutsu systems.
Do you teach real Ninjutsu or Muay Thai?
We actually incorporate both traditional and nontraditional Ninjutsu with authentic Muay Thai and we have members
from all styles and backgrounds of the martial arts world wide.
What style of Ninjutsu do you teach?
We the Black Scorpion Ninjutsu Society train in a veriety of different ninjutsu styles including Bujinkan Ninjutsu,
SVS Ninjutsu, Konigun Ninjutsu, Genbukan Ninjutsu, and modern ninjutsu similar to that used by today’s special
forces, the Navy Seals, British Special Air Services and etcetera.
Who can join the Black Scorpion Ninjutsu Society?
The Black Scorpion Ninjutsu Society is considered an "open organization" meaning that we allow anyone to join
regardless of their martial arts background. Potential members need only to complete an application, and return
it with the $10.00 membership processing fee. Once the application and processing fee has been received a membership
card, patch and certificate will be received. Extra ninja society patches may be ordered for an additional discounted
fee once you have become a member.
Can I belong to another school and still be a member of the Black Scorpion Society
Absolutely! We have lots of members who train in other schools and many of them even live in other states or in other countries.
Can I tell people that I’m a member of the Black Scorpion Ninjutsu Society?
Yes! Be proud of your decision to join the Black Scorpion’s and tell all your friends, confidently,
“I’m a member of the Black Scorpion Ninjutsu Society!”
What is an Official Black Scorpion Ninjutsu Society School?
An officially recognized Black Scorpion Ninjutsu Society School is a martial arts school located anywhere
in the world that uses our belt system and who uses our uniform guidelines (Black Uniform with Society Patch).
What is an Associated Black Scorpion Ninjutsu Society School?
An associated Black Scorpion Ninjutsu Society School is a martial arts school located anywhere
in the world that wishes to associate with our society as friends and fellow brothers and sisters
of the arts. These schools have their own belt system and uniform and dress code in place although
that may wear the society patch and use the society logo and graphics in their schools or on their websites.
Do I need to bring my training gear?
The answer is "NO" - We supply all hand wraps, gloves, shin pads, as well as Headgear and training equipment.
Some people prefer to bring their own training gear & equipment.
Where are your classes located?
Private lessons take place initially in your neighborhood park. Actually we can arrange for your private lessons
to take place almost anywhere.
I give most of my demonstrations, classes and seminars in public parks, community centers and local gyms around the
Nashville area. I have held classes in church halls, parks, other martial arts schools, residences (Including My Home),
and even at college/university campuses.
This helps me to offer classes to everyone, even to people who can't afford paying a high cost for martial arts
instruction. We have a community outreach program for the youth and to help the homeless in Nashville.
How long does it take to move through levels?
It depends on the individual. Do not attempt to compete with others. Only strive to better yourself.
You are your own best opponent.
Do you accept women students?
Yes, Women students are welcomed to take part in any of the programs we offer.
Does your school have belts for each level?
Muay Thai has no traditional belts, However we do use belts for our program. Below you will see a list of the belts
and the order they are giving.

Should I have a lot of strength or flexibility?
No! It is our job to make sure you develop the necessary fitness foundation for practicing Muay Thai and Ninjutsu.
Don't worry if you feel that you are not adequately strong or flexible at this point, as long as you are committed
and willing to be trained, we will work with you to enhance your strength and flexibility.
